I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Biology from Boston College in 2022. While there, I conducted experimental condensed matter physics research, where I was involved in building nanoscale coaxial electrode arrays. We grew stem cells around these arrays and applied an electric current in solution to test the resulting cellular differentiation. I also spent some time working on problems in computational and synthetic biology.

Afterwards, I taught chess at a charter school in New York City.

In 2025, I graduated from Boston University with my MS in Mathematical Finance & Financial Technology. While there, I conducted statistical mechanics research in a physics group, with my main contributions in stochastic processes and network science. Interestingly, some of my work had economic implications, particularly in the so-called “Yard-Sale” model.

Since May 2025, I have been involved in a semi-project turned startup that my colleague and I began with the intent of conducting systematic (algorithmic) trading. We focus primarily on statistical arbitrage. Most of my work is focused on alpha research and building machine learning and statistical models to better understand volatility dynamics in the market.

In my free time I enjoy tennis, and am always looking for a match when I can find the time. I have also done some work applying ML and statistics to predictive analytics in sports. My favorite player is Rafael Nadal.

I also enjoy traveling and have been to 23 countries so far. I’d like to get to them all!
